Looking for pet friendly casa to rent for month of April

Hi There!

I've been off and on this fabulous forum for a few years. I've tried to encourage my husband to join me in a move to Lake Chapala, but finally I must just make the choice on my own.

My rather daunting issue is that I have 4 lovely gatos! The sweet kitties have been my family for 12 years... they are well trained... just sleep a lot like older kitties do. They will stay inside and I clean their litter boxes 2-3 times a day. I also cover their claws with glued on Soft Paws... so they can't scratch anything.

So... I am breaking away... leaving Tucson on April 1st (formerly Bend, Or for those who communicated with me back then). I plan to arrive in Lakeside by April 3rd or 4th.

I'd like to rent a place for a month with a kitchen and a bedroom... hopefully a yard or private outdoor space... AND... I must find a place that can allow my cats for the month. If all goes well... perhaps this will become my permanent home. But I need to see how things go. My budget is conservative... and if perhaps a family wants to offer their casita, apartment, small house or mother-in-law apartment for a reasonable rent... I would be most appreciative!

I am open to any area of Lakeside... hoping for a quiet location. I will have a car... but near public transportation, in case this becomes long-term for the future would be a great plus.

I am very social... was a flight attendant with major US carrier for 13 years... a successful script supervisor (and teacher/mentor) in the LA film industry for over 25 years... have good manners and "play well with others." And I can offer a few great references.

If anyone has any ideas for my immediate need for housing, please let me know, and I will be most grateful!
