Do you live at one of these Gated Communities: El Dorado, Los Olivos, Los Sabinos, Arroyo Alto or Tres Canadas?

Do you have 24 hour guard service?

You can PM me if you want.

What is your goal here with that inquiry, John?

We don't live in a gated community. I am simply curious as to where you are going with this. Are there problems associated with living in gated communities, especially the ones you cite? This is not a frivolous inquiry.

I just wondered if any of the Communities above had 24 hour security. To my knowledge there have not been problems in the Communities I mentioned above, nor have there been any in ours.

Vista Allegre has 24 hr security, seems quite good. Neighborhood is nice and quiet, but haven't been here very long. Backs up to Cielo Vista, also gated, so feel pretty secure here.

Does Los Arroyos Sur have a 24 hour guard ? Perhaps that is the question.

Los Arroyos Sur has a nightime guard and is considering switching to 24 hour guards for NO REASON at all because a few people think it would be safer. NOT. We don't and haven't had any incidents here.

I just wanted to know how many Communities had 24 hour Guards.

The Raquet has 24/7 guards, who drive all over the fracc night and day. They also have to register about every 10 minutes or so, by logging on to a central site. That way we know they actually are working and not having a nap in the car.
Frankly I think it's a wonderful idea. We have had VERY few incidents since their arrival, if any. Before that, we did have a few situations every year.

Smaller Fracc. less problems. Big ones, have bigger problems. The larger the fracc. the lower the monthly fee, which is about all I have to say on the matter.
