It seems that the online access to Telmex has "portal" problems, since one cannot access their account. This was the reason given after 2 hours on the phone with Telmex. I was told that the correction will be made by Tuesday....still nothing! Any attempt to send a new password is futile since the email is never reached. Anyone else having better luck?

A couple of weeks ago I couldn't access my account. It turns out they had changed their password parameters, now requiring an 8 digit password that includes a cap and a symbol, etc. They had effectively disabled my account. I re-registered with a new password and it works fine. I just logged in with no problem.

I tried that, however it won't send me the new password. Telmex's response was a portal problem, which they said would be repaired Tuesday...

I re-registered. It wouldn't send me a password for my old account either. It won't let you re-register from scratch.....??

I think TelMex accounts had been getting hacked quite a bit so they changed their password parameters. Those with easy passwords basically had their accounts deactivated.

What does one do with a Mi TM account? Except what ya'll are hassling with now? Where's the gain in the play?

Access to your bill online from anywhere - especially since the paper bill doesn't always show up on time or at all. And it is possible to pay it online.

In my case, I had six lower case letters and two numbers. When I tried several times and couldn't get in, I thought maybe the first letter was capitalized, and that maybe I had made a mistake.

So not knowing the new requirements and thinking I had forgotten to capitalize the first letter of the password, I capitalized it and all of a sudden it worked.

So in my case,I use six letters, one of which is now capitalized and two numbers and it works great

You can also add minutes to your TelCel phone online through TelMex. The charge just gets added to your bill. Very handy.

It would have been nice if a notification was made to save hours on the line with Telmex...they never mentioned that the passwords were changed, simply that the portal was having problems...

Final solution was to register once again.
