Just received an e mail from friends who are moving here next month. The wife said they were at the Mexican Consulate in Portland today getting their visas. In chatting with a staff worker she said she had processed 70 visas last month for folks moving to or visiting Chapala/Ajijic. It seems impossible she went on to say but lately everyone wants to live in Ajijic.

The weather here is a whole lot better than in Portland or Alabama so I can see why people would want to visit or move to Ajijic..
