Same here..... right in the middle of a Post.

Right before it closed down, Mod2 or Maincoons posted that it was about to happen but that this time it would only be down for a few hours as they completed the transfer of something.

I quit reading it to answer the phone and when I tried again, it was off line.

Still down for me at. 5:55 pm

Ya think maybe they got that software at a "going out of business"

Interesting... For all the grousing about the other board, there sure is a lot of comments Mostly negative sadly...

I would like to add that these negative comments come from a few persons, most of whom, if not all of whom, do not post here.

Maybe that has something to do with actual technical performance, moderator(s), and some ridiculous arguments that get aired out by a few of the members on TOB.

If you compare the moderation by CanuckBob and his group on this board with the high handed approach, over many years on TOB, there is CAUSE for what you describe as interesting.
True, there are many informative posts and requests for information on TOB, but that only makes up a portion of it's character.

Well it took a few years but this board pretty much moderates itself. The members here are quick to run off the trolls, BSers and whiners. They end up on TOB where they are protected. I haven't had to warn or boot anyone off since the Nedro and Jim W days.........that was over two years ago.

In 4 days we will be celebrating our 8th year.

Congratulations, Bob. You have done a great job and have developed a board that can be both fun and informative. It will grow even more, I am sure.

I agree with the compliments, CB. I rely on thhis board for a lot. And, btw, just went to TOB, and that same software message is back.
