Telcel not working on my Iphone Empty Telcel not working on my Iphone

Anyone having trouble with Telcel and cellular connections on their cellphone? Mine is working using a wifi connection but cellular roaming isn't. Have 4 bars of Telcel service showing on the phone. I have a Verizon account from the US and went through an hour of troubleshooting finally deciding it is a Telcel issue. Can't get it to work so possibly Telcel is having problems?

Did you activate the Verizon "TravelPass" wireless plan for Mexico before you left the States?

According to Verizon as soon as I call or text in Mexico, the travel pass activates automatically. It worked fine for several months here. I went back to the states for 30 days and when I got off the plane back at GDL it didn't work. Verizon now says the have a tech working on it and will call me. The tech today had me do all the testing diagnostics, had the sim card out, reset everything, etc. No luck.

"Power off" your iPhone and then back on again so that it reboots. I've had that problem before when going to the States and then also back again. After traveling a long distance my iPhone doesn't work right. Sometimes calls work but data doesn't. Turning it off and back on fixes the problem. To turn it off you hold the on/off button down for about 30 seconds and then a slider will appear on the screen to "Power off".

Thanks for the suggestions. Verizon has been working on it and we got it working this morning.
