I haven’t been to Rangers but I sure love his brisket and pulled pork he delivers some weekends. Pictures of his place on Facebook always show good crowds so I am sure it’s well worth the trip. Report back if you go. He’s a nice man who does a lot for local charities.

It isn't easy if you have never been there.
Carretera El Salto 430 B......deep in the heart of El Salto
Smoke House is better and a whole lot closer if you live in Lake Chapala area.
The two owners (Juan and Amador) used to be partners in the same business, each now has their own business.

Re: Rangers BBQ
Went to the Smoke House Sat. evening to get some pork ribs to take home. They were busy! The ribs were very good and meaty. They also have beef ribs on the weekend! They are huge!!!! Everything I have ever had for there has been excellent !!!

I also took to the road and had an adventure finding this place. It was a fun venture. My friend had a rib eye steak and it was huge and delicious. I had the brisket it was about 6 slices of juicy meat. Each served with a lovely salad and potato. We enjoyed the bucket of peanuts. It felt like a drive to an down home Texan steak house. It is nice to have a change as after awhile all the restaurants here start to taste like going to the exact same place. So it was great for a change.
