Mercado Libre... signing up
I'm stuck and have already asked two friends for help.
I'm trying to sign up for Mercado Libre. The first page is "given name", "last name", "e-mail" and "clave".
It's the "clave" that I'm stuck on. Do they mean "contrasena" as in "password" ???

I never use a credit card on a Mexican Website. I use the "Pay cash at either an OXXO or a 711". Then I have proof in my hot little hand immediately.

Re: Mercado Libre... signing up
I have a question about Mercado Libre which I have used several times always paying at Oxxo. A couple of times the vendor came back saying they didn’t have the item and I assume my pesos are being held somewhere but I can’t figure out how to access it or use it for a new purchase. My Spanish skills or lack of show up at times like these.

Carry you have 28 days from the date of purchase to initiate a claim and get your money refunded. In the app, click the item you purchased and at the bottom click "Tengo un problema." Then click "No recibí el producto" and "Nunca llegó el envio." Finally click the link "Inicia una reclamo" and start your claim.

Thanks, but this was 5-6 months ago and it’s showing I have over 850 pesos there but I can’t figure out how to use that money for a new purchase of something else.

That’s an odd situation. I doubt there is a stock answer in their support forum.
Are you a Twitter user? They have an active Twitter account at “MercadoLibre Ayuda” @ML_Ayuda

Thanks. I may check that out later this week. It came about becauseI bought something and the seller came back after I had paid and said he/she didn’t have the item. So now the money is floating around in Mercado libre ozone and I couldn’t figure out how to access it.
