I was thinking about this the other day. Southern Mexico needs a labor intensive industry which could employ/protect refugees from violence in Central America. These people have very little chance of entering the U.S. or Canada legally. Hemp and henniquin seem to fit the bill. Hemp rope is difficult to find, Manila hemp rope is not really hemp, the last people who seem to make genuine hemp rope are the Amish. Hemp rope is easy on the hands, and much better than the plastic rope tying up our environment. It is also good for long lasting, smooth to touch clothing.

I forgot about the hemp clothing. It's a nice, natural, breathable cloth that is very soft and very long lasting. The original Levi jeans were made from it. Nice catch Chillin'!
It's also food (seeds as a superfood)... and a fuel... and a building material (Hempcrete)
