Constantly logging in...
Is getting really tiresome. Once a day is tolerable but not every time I come here.

Do you have a setting on your browser set to delete cookies and history when you turn off your browser?

Yes that can be it. Also, if you have any software that deletes cookies in a cleanup, that is why you are having the problem.

No, I don’t. This is on my IPad.

I have the same thing from tine to time. Seems to fix itself then come back in a couple of months. First the tablet then the phone.

About every two weeks, I'm asked to log in: using a laptop computer.

This is every time I leave and come back, even on the same day. Oh, well.

When you log in, are you ticking the little box that says "log in automatically"?

I have no idea. I suspect it is as suggested above. Something is deleting her "cookies" every time she shuts her browser off.

Why would it only happen here if that were the case?

Carry: You may have done something to 'disallow cookies' on your computer. Check all your 'Preferences' for your system, and for your browser.

Well it isn't happening to me or anyone else that I am aware of so I have to conclude the problem is at your end.

It was happening to me - so I rarely use this site. It also won't let me post photos. I have a cookie blocker installed that blocks tracking cookies that it feels are potentially privacy invasions. I prefer not to be followed around by Facebook or Twitter or... so I don't bother to log in and only check the site a few times a month.
So you loose potential users with privacy concerns but gain a whole bunch of Facebook bots and everybody's happy.

Sorry but that's BS......
The two bots on this forum are for Google and Bing search engines. It lists them right under the "users on line" at the bottom of the homepage.

If you are deleting or blocking "cookies" either manually, via a setting or via an app as discussed above it will continue to happen.
Occasionally the forum will make everyone sign in again for security purposes. That happens every month or so.

Re: Constantly logging in...
FINALLY I figured out what the deal is with constantly having to log in every time I came here. On the IPad, I hit the Google icon and start to enter INS.. in the search and click on the first thing that always comes up. It was Inside Lakeside all right but it was the old address without the HttpS. Once I select the https address instead of the auto-filled address I don’t have to log in every single time. (I hope I explained that correctly.). I hope Mtnmama sees this. It might be her issue as well.
