Are you getting any smoke from the fire in Guad?

None in san Antonio Tlayacapan.

Never mind... it came up on my facebook..said April 12......but going back to look it was 2018.

Looks like I picked up a different one the second time...there IS a fire.

Above article posted as on April 12. Maybe this is what you smelled--drifting smoke--but of course it is also possible there is a fire nearer to Lakeside

The smoke is so thick and voluminous that it has settled here over the last few nights, causing scratchy eyes, coughing, and so on. One person told me his drive in from Guad to here was a whole choking experience last week.

Do they have it under control? Rainy season is still two months away. Sure hope they have a handle on it.

It is under control, but sadly it is the third fire in one week time and so most likely it won't be the last.

That's my "personal scary"...other than the traitor in the Oval. Fire terrifies me...and I'm no wuss. Maybe having horses all these years and knowing we could never get them all out in time if fire went crazy.

I just heard that it had grown to 3,000 acres.

It became quite extensive yes and lot of smog in the city this morning, but it is under control. I'm right now at a kids party basically right next to the forest where the fire is or better said was. There is still smoke but no longer the dense grey smoke of yesterday when there is active fire..

I was in GDL yesterday and didin't notice anything.

We have a fire in upper Ajijic racing up the side of the wooded hill, this Sunday morning. It is maybe one block to the East of me and heading up hill as usual and not toward my house. It's located between and above Juarez and Colon streets.

Same here, was in the Atemajac area. northside, no smoke there.
Haven´t noticed any in the SAT area lakeside, either.
