It seems I have been seeing the same article for the last 40 years.

If 600,000 of these 799,000 U. S. citizens in Mexico are simply children born while their mothers were in the United States the remainder is an extremely unimpressive number for a country of 320 million.

Just an FYI, I was not talking about Mexicans returning home. Another huge influx locally will turn into total gridlock that will make the last winter traffic look like a race course on the Carretera.

It's been such a treat lately being able to turn onto the highway easily and find a parking spot wherever. Enjoy these six months as they too shall pass. Luckily, I'm an early riser and have all my "out and about" chores done and am safely home or in my hood by noon.

Wouldn´t you say Canadians contribute to the glut of foreigners in Lake Chapala area almost as much as Americans?

Maybe during snowbird season but I think the majority of FT's here are Americans. That won't change again until the CDN $$ rises.
