LCS: Cats, Gatos, Felines

There are a lot of cats at LCS. Most, except for a couple of holdouts, are fixed.
There was a request a couple of weeks ago for food. I think some was forthcoming.
Now not so much.
HUNGRY CATS. Fighting cats. Cats literally coming over the walls in search of food. Caterwalling cats.
Nothing like listening to the death cries of some poor bird at 3:00 am.
Sleep, not great.
I'll drop off food. How? Only 2 doors away
Meanwhile you lot at LCS. Don't expect to see a lot of birds when you return. They are the plat de jour.

If the LCS has fed and nurtured these cats they should be responsible to ensure they are fed during this lockdown. Anything short of that is inhumane and criminal. I'm sure they have enough in their coffers to buy a few bags of cat food......

Well hopefully they move on sooner than later. Living right beside the LCS is a real pain in the cat....

I already leave cat food out at night for my own cat's and the LCS cat's brave enough to enter the pitbull's domain.

HOWEVER THE CATS ARE BEING FED DAILY BY ALE FROM THE CAFE OR STEVE THE EXEC DIR. TAKING TURNS!

You know lots of cats from the neighborhood also visit for an extra snack or brunch-
maybe they are not there when the general feeding happens.

Or maybe the cats miss all of the company some of them have gotten used to!

This is categorically untrue that no one is feeding the cats and fishes. Not a day has passed without them being fed. Cafe Corazon pays for their food and has for a long time, as the group that originally took care of this disbanded. It is expensive and we are receiving little income now that LCS and the cafe is closed. But we do it. Every day. We invite everyone to share the burden of the cost of the food (or money for food ) for the animals. We can meet you by the gates of LCS when we go in to feed them. Please call 332 212 8480
or 332 971 8065. Supporting Cafe Corazon home delivery service will help too, as this is the only source of the money that goes to the animals' food.

I can pick it up for Mark.  Can I knock on your door friday?  This is Zed.  I am also buying a big bag of Whiskas Carne kibble which is what the cats eat if possible. I am in contact with Mark and can give him your money.

You included a period (dot) that does not belong in the link. Remove the period after /cafecorazon and the link will work as intended.

We want to donate also. 5,000 pesos.....but not sure how to get it to you. We do not leave home either. Any suggestions??? We live in Chapala.

Ok Mark has help now and won't have to pay for all that cat food by himself.  We even found some money to reimburse him.  He feeds em he shouldn't have to pay for food in my opinion. Its a lot of cats!  We got 40KG (88lbs) of kibbel and 48 cans of soft food. When I pick up Barbies money we will have a good fund to keep the cats fed til this virus crap is over. Thanks to all who donated. Will contact Barbiecheesecake next week to arrange to pick up donation. I do leave home for cats :-)

Thank you Zed for your work with the cats. I'm glad that everything is working both down here with the cats and up in the greater Seattle area with your Mom

I saw Ale briefly for a donation and she did mention that there are four new kittens!
All but three of the cats have been fixed and she and Mark once again will try to trap the others. She does get a discount from one of the vets for the procedure...but could use help with that as well.
