Raining hard here in Riberas

And the air will be a lot fresher once I get the smell of wet dust out of my nose. It certainly has dropped the temperature a lot.

Really downpour in Ajijic since 9:30 and my Gardner water today, my gardens are thriving as I have been working in it everyday...

Sorry, my fault. I got the car washed today when I went grocery shopping. However, your garden will love it. I always notice how happy they are with cloud water as opposed to ground water.

.47 inches of rain in evening and .17 inches of rain after midnight so total is .64 inches. in SE SAT.

I also got 0.6 inches total in Riberas.
However, my friends in Rancho Alegre just east of Jocotepec got 1/2 inch of HAIL and TWO and a half inches of rain. They said that they thought their skylights were going to break.
The air is so clean and soft and beautifully scented this morning. Love it!

This is my first time here. I bought without ever being here before and I absolutely love it.
I totally understand the excitement of rain here but being from Vancouver Island BC I do find it amusing.

We lived in Vancouver for 18 months in the 80's. Had three umbrellas... one at work, one at home and one in the car. LOL.
The best is yet to come. The hills will turn green and lush and the heat will be gone. It's like a different world.
Unfortunately, this is just a preview because it usually doesn't officially start until around the middle of June.

Living my whole life in Vancouver I didnt appreciate the rain until after about 6 years of living here.....

I flew down in September for 5 days for doing all the legal stuff for my home purchase. The hills and surrounding area was unbelievably green and all the colours of everything else made my wife and I very happy we chose Lake Chapala over many other places.
My web feet are just about healed and now unfortunately I have to return to Canada but will be back in October for the winter. If my wife , a workaholic , would just retire we would be here full time. That's a ways away darn it.
