I think it's quite funny an American is complaining about her voice. Obviously there is no one in America with a voice that gets people to listen.

I listened. She definetely has a slight accent of some type. Different than Ontario, which has a "newscaster" accent popular in both Canada and the U.S.A. (very many newscasters were recruited from Canada to the U.S.) She is soft spoken, which is characteristic of the B.C. accent, but she does not have the lazy tongue,
more common with Northern B.C. residents and native Indian English. Chief Dan George did not have this accent in his movie roles. He was from North Vancouver.

Here. Lots of native accents here. Ethan Adams is actually a Doctor, who used to work at Calgary Hospital Emergency. He was later recruited to head up B.C. Aboriginal Access Program.
