Is OXXO open during this closure

Just wondering in case I run out of beer.

The one in town was open this morning.  

Beer and other alcohol sales end at 7pm.

Excellent!! Lot's of tourists in town. Don't know what they are all doing? I have guests from GDL for the weekend just hanging around in the pool. I hope they brought food......

Actually, just went out to OXXO and the town is dead. Everyone must now realize even Ajijic is closed and went home. It was bustling this morning.

Pancho´s store in Riberas was packed to the gills, around noon.  Walmart people I suppose.
Gourmet Garage and Superlake were busy also.

Lots of nearby restaurants open for delivery only.

And carryouts, as was Mom´s Deli in Riberas.

We, and other people were going inside to the register area and purchasing frozen and refrigerated items to carry out. I don´t know if they deliver.

I mention the Delivery Only because when I called two of my faves for carryout today (which I get from them frequently) both said, sorry, Delivery Only under the law. Another restaurateur (Trip Wilmot of Tripp's Burgers) discussed this at length at Hector's site and said those who were allowing carryout were risking their restaurant license.

I am not debating what the rules are, just citing 3 restaurant owners who say, Deliver Only on weekends, no carryout.

Wall to wall people at Pancho´s carrying a lot of food out.  I know it´s not restaurant food but seems strange that that would be safer than carrying out of a restaurant.
Oh well........It´s not for me to wonder why.... (you know the rest of the saying)  

There was a debate about restaurants on Facebook. It appears the governor’s order said delivery only. The presidente here sent out an amendment letter saying pick up was okay. Trip joined the discussion. He said he had not seen the amendment and will now be doing delivery tomorrow and next weekend.

Restaurants (including taquerías) cannot receive people in establishments but they can offer food to take away and pick up in establishment in extended hours until 12:00 hrs
