Where to buy at lakeside. Graneria doesn’t have them.

We just purchased some a couple days ago at Super Lake and my wife was very pleased.

Where did you find them. Looked today and didn’t see them.

Ask at the front desk on the right side when you walk in, they usually know where all the merchandise is or will find it.

If you like them larger size and more likely fresh, best to buy from South Asian shops on the internet. These are called Masoor Dal. I usually buy from Rani Foods in Houston, and get free shipping to iShop Laredo.
I am cooking up a batch of black lentils to make a famous dish Dal Makhani. Ethiopians also like spicy black lentils. Indian vegetarians, which there are millions, eat dal everyday as a side dish. Many recipes. The red is excellent for Tardka. A very tasty, nutritious, source of protein and fiber.

The cremería on the corner behind the mercado in Chapala generally carries red lentils.
