I guess they were new in 2014 or 15. I am not sure what the rules are, but if you do a Google on most of the acts, you will find that they've been around for quite a while, some of them having done several "Got Talent" shows, like Britain. So I believe it has more to do with lack of public awareness. I mean, there was one Canadian comic I have seen for at least a decade on Just For Laughs from Montreal who almost won two years ago.

Amazing voice! Thanks for introducing to Benedetta but Hauser on the cello playing Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones was more my cup of tea.
