Extension of Colon deli directly east of Waffle house

The small deli just south of the Ajijic plaza a few doors down on Colon on the west side has opened a new place WITH PARKING immediately east of the Waffle House. I think it is attached to the Waffle House. They don’t have a sign yet but a picture of a sausage at their entrance. Have rye bread loaf 50 pesos. Whole wheat 46 pesos. All kinds of meats and cheeses. And liverwurst.
Many pastries and other goodies. Reasonable prices. Check it out. You can also order a sandwich to enjoy at their outside tables. Fernando is the owner.

I hope it is a second location and he isn't closing Colon.

He didn’t say anything about closing Colon but I did mention the parking is a benefit.

Support this new location. I think it is attached to the Waffle House building. Pull in ahead of the deli because of the bicycle wall in front of the deli. It is a bigger store and tables outside for sandwiches. Beer and wine available.

Unless I'm mistaken,, there was a small deli and sandwich place there. It was actually good, but never got the trade it needed to survive.

We had roast beef and pastrami sandwiches at Lilifer#2 outside today. Pastrami on rye bread and roast beef on great grain bread. Several people came in. Fernando said he put in the 2nd deli so people could park but he is keeping the Ajijic deli downtown also.

fyi, they do sandwiches to-go from the Colon store. Wish them the best success.

Yes. Support the Colon store for local walking or bus access and if parking is found on a side street by all means support Colon deli. If parking needed support deli direct to east of Waffle House.
