Links to other sources (including the official State site) that are saying bars and clubs (not restaurants) and also you can view Alfaro's presser and the video can be set for English subtitles. In the video and accompanying handouts, restaurants are never mentioned.

A correction has now been made at the bottom of the article that I originally posted. Too bad, imho, because they have been doing this in Ontario for MONTHS now. It would make it safer for staff and other diners in the restaurant.

Since vaccinated people can still catch and carry Covid I don't really understand these requirements. Is it just a way to force the unvaccinated to get a shot?

Maybe Canada has the right idea. Liquor and weed is sold in government run stores in most of Canada. Starting soon, you will not be able to purchase liquor or weed without a vaccination permit.

So what. They don't enforce anything else. What makes you think they'll enforce this?

He wants to push people into getting vaccinated and people who are vaccinated do not end up in hospital as much as the unvaccinated so that could be reason 2.

I bet they won't be able to enforce here in Chapala. Even the liquor ban was never truly enforced. Small businesses want and need customers, they don't care about your vaccination status they only care about your money.
