If you have a Kindle
I hope you know about bookbub.com
You sign up (free), select all the categories of books you like and each morning they send you a list of greatly reduced or free books you can download from Amazon and many other sites. I have gotten loads of good books this way and it was a lifesaver during this Covid mess.

I have been using that site for some time, and love it, sort of like my 2 Kindles, I am hooked---never thought I'd go for this electronic book reading, but hey, I can get books in different languages for little or no cost!

I’ve gotten several free books through bookbub and they were good reads. Especially handy here because they don’t care if you aren’t north of the border.

I subscribe to BookBub and The Fussy Librarian. They're very similar but offer different selections. Neither site overloads me with spam.

Re: If you have a Kindle
I don't listen to audible books so the little bit that I know is not from personal experience. I don't read current best sellers and I do read a lot of older stuff so what works for me may not work for others.
I get a lot of free ebooks from Amazon simply by searching for "free books". They have a section for audible books but you must be careful if you do not want to sign up for their audible book service. If you choose to take advantage of their free trial be aware that the subscription must be actively cancelled or it will keep billing your account forever!
Search for "audible books" then set all of your criteria for a genre, language, rating, etc. Finally set "Sort by:' to something other than "Featured". If you sort for "Featured" you will get many (many!) pages of audible books which are only free with the trial subscription. I would opt for "Price: lowest to highest" which allows you to skip past the free-with-subscription section.
One of the services mentioned in earlier posts has an audible book site.

Re: If you have a Kindle
I get emails I assume from Bookbub with all audible books. I’ve never ordered them.

Re: If you have a Kindle
BTW, you don't need to have a Kindle to use BookBub or Fussy Librarian. You just need to put the Kindle app on your device. In my case, it is an android tablet.
