iPhones sold at Telcel?

Does Telcel at lakeside sell new versions of iPhone?

Why would anyone pay TOP DOLLAR by going thru Telcel? Most people want an unlocked phone anyway, to be able to change SIM cards when u travel. Talk to Ruben, his quote for an iPhone 6 months ago was almost $100 use less than his source in Guadalajara.

The new iPhones in the US have the built in E sim technology and also a nano sim. Telcel would need to support the E sim technology for a new iPhone to work.

An iPhone 6 can only run iOs 12. iOs 16 has just been released. Nothing wrong with an iPhone 6, but not sure that I'd invest in a phone that is no longer supported if I was buying a new phone.

The ‌iPhone 14‌, ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌, and ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max are set to launch on Friday, September 16, and the ‌iPhone 14‌ Plus will launch on Friday, October 7. So I doubt the Telcel has the 14 yet. According to the Telcel site they do support eSim:

That’s great to know. I would like to buy a 14 with the Esim technology with a Telcel as my provider.

Maybe they will have them on Friday, kind of doubt it though. They can at least confirm that they will support an eSim iPhone.

But if you scroll down quite a ways to the order section it says "Disponible en octubre". So sometime next month but no date given. You could also check apple.com.mx.

I have one on reserve to pick up on the 18th, when they have inventory...

Lol......I can't understand the obsession with Apple to want to pay almost $1000 USD for a phone. I gave them up at iPhone 2......waaayyyy too much proprietary software and apps for me.

I'm with Bob on this. I broke from the herd and bought a Xaiomi Poco X3 Pro NFC that mimics iphone's great display scrolling at 120hz at a fraction of the cost of an iphone. 8gb ram and internal storage 128 gb. octa core 2.96 ghz. Have had it a year, only problem has been a few times I have to reboot when the key board freezes, Think I paid about 6800 MXN. Like it so much I bought their 11" tablet later for about 9500 MXN. Same great display and performance. Battery life is something like 2/3 days depending on use of location with the 5200 mAh battery. My previous two Samsungs never lasted a day with battery life.

I never had a smart phone until the kids talked me into it after Bruce's passing. They all had iPhones so I figured, if I had problems, they could help. Got the top of the line in 2016 and it didn't last a year and couldn't be fixed. Bought a used Samsung 4 from a friend for 1000 pesos. Still using it. I did buy a Blu Vivo XL5 from Amazon for about $250 U.S. and it's still sitting in my drawer.
The buttons and letters seem to be getting smaller on the Samsung so the debut of my Vivo will probably take place before the end of the year.

Reason for getting an iPhone as our iPad and computer are Apple and they sync. Also the phone lasts a long time but the planned obsolescence makes them outdated and no longer can download new apps or download new software versions. My 7 works fine but can no longer be up dated with anything.

Android phones synch the same way. I use a dual sim Motorola G7 phone and it synchs to my PC via my google account.

It cost 3400p at AMZN MX in Oct. 2020. Battery charge lasts days, depending on my usage.

I'm waiting to buy a Samsung flip phone. Cell phones are getting too large. Too easy to lose or damage.

The sentence was not about an iPhone 6 but rather an iPhone, 6-months ago.
