Another nice thing about being a Canadian in Mexico is being able the celebrate two thanksgivings!  Happy Turkey time for where ever you're from.

Your post reminds of when our kids were little: one year out older two figured out that they were disadvantaged because they only had one set of parents! So many of their school friends got to celebrate Christmas twice because of their broken families---- and that meant at least twice the presents!
The fact that they had German Christmas on Christmas Eve and the American one on Christmas morning just did not measure up.
