I think there is a group that meets at LCS. Check with them. They may know a specialist or the leader of the group might.

Dr. Daniel Amen, a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry and human behavior at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine, said “Table tennis is the world’s best brain sport.”
Studies show it activates various parts of the brain simultaneously. When playing, an overall state of awareness is stimulated — requiring thought and physical alertness. The game is now recommended as a method of warding off Alzheimer’s and for assisting in the treatment of dementia. Benefits include:
Increased concentration, alertness and brain function
Heightened tactical thinking skills and hand/eye coordination
Better overall fitness
Social and recreational interaction

Mayo Clinic research shows that any exercise that gets the heart pumping may reduce the risk of dementia and mild cognitive impairment — and slow those conditions if they start.

Bob, post on FB Chapala Health Talk. Also, a few local care homes offer Memory Care and may be able to put you in touch with specialists.
