Recently we made a trip to Tapalpa and were impressed by many things including the smooth roads. While the roads were stone they were uniform stone unlike the bone jarring and car suspension ruining roads that we have in Ajijic. Also the sidewalks were in much better condition. I guess what I am saying is that Tapalpa is far more deserving of the Magico status than Ajijic is.

Tapalpa has been pueblo mágico since 2012..si before Ajijic
