At El Torito the cilantro is in a basket with other herbs that are rolled and wrapped in plastic wrap. Sometimes it is (for me) hard to tell the difference between cilantro and flat leaf parsley when wrapped up tight like that. Sometimes the rolls have stickers on them saying what they are, sometimes not.

Yes, both Lopez's have it as does Las Chulas a very good frutería on north side of carretera in Ajijic. If you don't see it on display at any of these places, just ask....at Lopez on the plaza they often have it in a closed box and will take out as much as you need.

The cilantro at SL often looks limp and sad.

Thanks. I’ll pass in the cilantro wrapped in plastic wrap. 😳

Wrapping herbs in airtight plastic wrap helps preserve the cilantro....it's often in better shape at El Torito due to the wrap and keeping it chilled than when it's kept in a box at room temperature.

We always have cilantro in our fridge so I buy it very often.  El Torito is my #1 choice for it.
