Yup, but they were released and the nappers were caught just a few hours ago on the highway "in the Chapala region" while trying to pick up some money. Greedy sons o female dogs ... there were a Bunch of State Patrullas, 7 or 8 near the 7/11 in Riberas about an hour ago , maybe thats where this went down..No wonder Chapala.com don't want ta talk about crime no more...K desmadre

Wow! Who were the RE people? That should shake up some realtors.

I've watched this on GDL Noticias twice but victims names were not mentioned. They were kidnapped in Chapala on May 3rd and released on May 05 for a fraction of the ransom requested. Evidently they were trying to extort more money from the victims when they were caught last night.
I had heard about a kidnap/ransom/release through the grapevine ( the car wash Guys) and was told that at least one was an American ...but I had dismissed the whole thing as rumor and had not repeated it to anyone...and then last night it was on the news!
