Tio Domingo's has recommended Chiles en Nogada? Where, pray tell, is this establishment?

It is closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. Go west on the carretera past Ajijic. You can either turn left at Tabarka and go down one block to Ocampo and turn right...or you can turn left at Hacienda Steak House and go down one block to Ocampo and turn LEFT....
Tio Domingo's is almost smack in the middle between those two restaurants but on Ocampo. Lakeside.
Not easily accessed by the handicapped because of stairs or a steep ramp.
Not dog friendly because they have some chickens running around in the patio area.
You can smoke in the outside open to the air patio area.
Good food, reasonably priced, and good service.

Good grief, I gotta get out more. The place sounds like paradise, and for recommended chilies in nogata I'd ... well never mind. Anyway I will miss Augustine's in SJC but not the topes to get there. Thanks for the directions ferret, mucho appreciato!

Directly across the street from the gated community La Huerta, if you know where that is. Do not get your hopes up for Chilies en Nogada, as they only make it as a special and it is not on their daily menu. When they are serving it, they advertise it in the Reporter and ask for reservations. Stick with Agustin's in the meantime. I am addicted to them. Everytime I go there, I swear I will try something else, but do not. chico

If you want Chiles en Nogada you must call first as he doesn't have them all the time.
