Swarm 9 Junky Monkey

Swarm 9 will be on Friday Sept 21, 1 pm at the Junky Monkey.

This new business is operated by a young couple.

All they do is Pizza, wings, salads and beer.

And from personal experience, they do it pretty good.

We have waited one week because of all the other parties going on for Independence Day on Sept 15.

Please try and come out and support this new business and taste a really great pizza lakeside.

The Junky Monkey is located 1/2 block west of Casa de Wafle and across the Carretera from Dona Lona.

They are pet friendly, they let me go in, LOL.

How about someone making a point of taking a camera and actually posting photos of the restaurant(including entrance, food shots and facilities)? I thought the purpose was to bring attention to these businesses who were experiencing a tough business climate and struggling.

Wow, that is such a great idea. Don't think any of us would have thought of that.

The main idea of the swarms were to actually get out and support them. CBob started taking some pictures at the very first ones. Then our new Resident Foto Guy made some beautiful shots of Hacienda Steak house. And the last one, both were not there. So, I am pretty sure we will get some good pictures of this swarm for the Board to see.

So, if you haven't tried their pizza yet, now is the good time to spend a Friday afternoon chillin with some great people and some great food. And a cold beer, or two.

Please count us for 2. We ate there for the first time a few nights ago. Hawaiian Pizza with green olives...MMM! Sauce and crust that actually taste the way we think of pizza tasting. Didn't try the wings yet. Looking forward to it.

They now have their new Corona Umbrellas, so there will be lots of room on the patio.

May I suggest the Junky Monkey pizza! And don’t skip the bananas! Vela and I went there on the 15th and I had the J.M. with everything on it and to my happy surprise the bananas worked very well. I think I’ll ask for a few more on the pizza I get this Friday.
