I didn't see it on any of the forums so we forgot to set back. I thought Mexico used to wait two weeks after the States to do it.

They used to, however this year they got in sync with the Fall back. Perhaps they will also get in sync with the Spring forward next year.

Mexico has been consistent, the US changed a few years ago, adding a couple of weeks at either end, and Canada followed. The time did not change in the USA or Canada this morning.

No, Bob. The USA does not change until next Sunday, 4 Nov.
México and the USA are out of sync for three weeks in the Spring and one week in the Fall. It's been that way since 2007.

This time change is important to Dawg as it means that my hero, Fareed Zakaria comes on on CNN an hour earlier the next morning when we ordinary Mexican resident folks in the Jalisco or Chiapas Highlands "fall back" from Central Time in those parts of Mexico and my Shaw programming out of Alberta, Canada which is on Mountain Time remains on DST for a few more weeks.

What is interesting is that in Chiapas our Mexican friends who convert from standard time to daylight savings time semi-annually, must go through the machinations of changing hours whereas our indigenous Chiapas friends have no such quandary. In the Chiapas Highlands among the Maya, there are no time changes. The local indigenous go on what they call "God´s Time" for all negotiations and official and personal events which, by definition is, standard time and, while this may seem insignificant to many, the fact is that one must understand this contrariness if one does business there as one´s definition of the commencement of any important event rules the time one shows up to commence that event. If you do not get that, your indigenous compatriates do not really give a damn, foreign dog of questionnable heritage . They will show up on "God´s Time" more or less - mostly less and you can simply stew in your own juice.

By the way, Rolly, Dawg is about to head for Chiapas in December to participate in the Maya the End-Of-The-World bash. Should I consider recording my experiences on Mexico Connect with its widespread clientele from which I have been banned or hereabouts? I know how you may feel about that but then you are not the HMFWIC over there. PM me if you have an opinion. That would be at rbplummer1@gmail.com.

I do not forebode your potential unresponsiveness to my less-that- compelling inquiry. I´m just respecting you as a friend from afar even if you do live in the vicinity of one of the ten most dangerous cities on the planet according to one irresponsible source.

Axixic:

My guess is that the forum software is geared to the rest of North America and not this difference in changing times between Mexico and NOB. If it is a major concern, I guess you could reset your timezone to coincide with the one NOB to make your time correct and then switch it again after next weekend?
