Any foreigner needs authorization for their activities, i.e. if a famous singer comes here on a tourist visa he is expected to do tourist activities and not give concerts without requiring additional permission. Any foreigner receiving money needs to be registered with SAT and pay taxes as well as have permission from immigration to do that activity.

Personal services are crappy as it is a hassle as with selling stuff there is a simplified tax system and you can avoid accountants and compliance is easy and pretty cheap.

The key word is "remuneración"...if you are guilty, then it's a work permit, filing taxes, possibly a business license, and probably a couple of other things. sindicato membresía
