I never really considered Eric Burden to be a "Blues" artist either. No more than Jimmy Morrison anyways.

Knob is a Canadian term of endearment meaning "hoser". "Hoser" is someone who kvetches endlessly with no provocation about others on webboards, generally for no apparent reason.

Sounds like somebody is getting close to "dropping a dime".
Chill out guys....it's just an insignificant web board.

Mixing blues and rock in the early days, much to the disdain of purists on both sides? Who was an example for so many other bands? Who had one of the most memorable and powerful voices of any of the British bands, outside of Long John? Who brought us War?

Really.
Forget comparisons with Paul McCartney. I would gladly trade 10 Eric Burdons for one Paul Rodgers.
