Foccacia Restaurante Italiano - San Juan Tecomatlan

This week, Foccacia has moved across the road into it's new building. All of the funky decor has been retained and it looks like even more has been added. The pizza is still cooked in a stone oven and is fabulous. It now has two large dining areas, inside and outside. The inside area has perhaps 12-15 tables and the outside deck area has a magnificent view of the lake. Eventually it looks like the outside deck will be covered offering a wonderful outdoor dining experience. The new building is on the north side of the highway directly across from it's old location. There is now lot's of parking off the road and is much safer, you no longer have to worry about passing motorists crashing into you while enjoying your meal!!

Located at approx. km. 10 east of Chapala on the Mezcala Hwy. To get there, go past the Chapala Country Club (Vista del Lago) and through the village of San Juan Tecomatlan. It is about 500 mtrs. past the last set of topes east of SJT.
