I used to fax documents using the CIA cyber cafe. But it seems they are out of business now and I need to fax some documents. Hopefully there is a place near the plaza  in Ajijic.

Thanks for any tips that will help me out.

Most of the cyber cafes and some papalaries(sp?) have fax machines. I don't go to Ajijic that often, but there was a cyber cafe on Gpe. Victoria  about 1/2 block east of Donato Guerra. They had a scanner and fax machine.

Many computers no longer have fax modems built in.

Today's most widely-used solution is to scan the document and then email it. Difficult for legal-sized papers, as most scanners are not equipped.

For security reasons many banking organizations will only accept faxes and send faxes.

Many Stock Brokers will only accept faxes.......Mine is Edward Jones, and always a PITA as I must fax, and scan is not acceptable.

Yep, sadly, and here's praying that they will wake up and change this REAL soon. It is SO easy to fake a signature on a fax.
