Mariachi Festival in Guadalajara

Apparently there is one on this weekend. Does anyone know when or where? I can't find much on the net about it.

there is a street where they all hang out to get hired. i went to a fine club there with a certain kind of table entertainment, on or near that street. you should be able to google that street.

I imagine this one will be in and around the San Juan Del Dio Plaza or somewhere similar.

i know that when we left that fine entertainment venue at about 4am there were still a zillion mariachis looking fer a gig on that street.

Today is the last day of the week long festival. By the way to contract a mariachi go to above plaza. Did you see the Japanese Mariachi?
