Hints:
Typically made with beef as per photo but can be cooked with chicken.
Prep is the most time consuming part and the actual cooking can be complete in 10 to 15 minutes.
Typically served over white rice and some traditionalists pour a fresh scrambled uncooked egg over the rice prior to spooning the entree on top of the rice.

That certainly didn't take long!  For us, this is a favorite even though I really don't care for all the slicing and prep.  To my way of thinking, one of the secrets to making this dish is to use suet to prepare the pan and to only use Japanese Soy Sauce in the broth.
