A snippet from a friends e-mail:

"We now have a Men's Special underwear shop on the Carretera on the mountain side next to Chali's at the corner of Marcos Castellano. Apparently last week they had live models, like the "paint girls" in front of the store dancing in their jockstraps, but alas we missed it. Special ladies undies are coming soon! And the name of this establishment is "The Blue Unicorn".....go figure!"

And from what I hear there is a dildo store next to the Red Piano.

If these things are true I am way past appalled.

Don't know about the undies but the dildo store is real.

I don't know about the underwear store RoofBob, but the "Dildorea" on 16th de Septiembre right around the corner from Piano Roja is for real. I keep meaning to take photos of its offerings to post on TOB in the thread where they all get their knickers in a knot over "racy" graffiti in the skateboard park.

Maybe the owners looked at the Lakeside demographics and decided they could fill a need,so to speak.

As for the live models you should check out Zapotlenejo (clothing town) on the weekends. They have live models (mannequins) in many stores. They are all gorgeous and look like they are straight from modeling school.

Hey the Dildorea (sp) sell red hots  candy and is actually an interesting store if you leave your puritanical side at the door. He has much more than Dildos.  Check it out it was fun!

Actually, dildos are gender neutral, and I heard that the owner may be also, but that´s another story. I heard most of the customers are expat women in their 60s and 70s which says a lot about expat men in their 60s and 70s. I thought Viagra was supposed to take care of that? Oh wait, just because you can start a car does not mean you know how to drive it.

I would imagine that expat women in their 60's and 70's who are not gender-neutral would be more interested in vibrators than dildos, n'est pas?

That is why the dildorea is doing such a great business. Too many old guys just parking it in the garage thinking the garage is happy with that.
