As you're leaving Chapala going towards Lucky Dog Rescue, San Nicolas, Vista de Lago, Mezcala, etc.
The Gran Salon restaurant is on your right and from the prior information he is across the street.

Yes, he's across the street from Gran Salon. His sign is hard to see coming from Chapala so slow down when you see Gran Salon. Be careful of the topes at the exit/entrance of Santa Cruz, go over the next hill where the aquaduto is located and then you'll see the restaurant on the lake side.
