VEHICLE EMISSION TESTING

I had stopped by the shop in San Antonio on Colon to arrange for this test. Jose said he couldn't do it...that the government has reduced the number of places where it can be done. He told me there was a place in Chapala on Zaragoza & Degallado.

I then called S&S Auto in Riberas and the woman told me there were no places here anymore where the test can be done and she said you have to go to Guad. Anyone have any info about this? The last digit on my plate is "2" so I have to get this done ASAP. I really don't want Transito pulling me over.

I believe that Escalera is still doing it. At least they were when we went there a month ago. Turned out we didn't need it at this point, but the testing equipment was up and running. We were advised to go there by Al Rivas, who did the annual work on our car.

That's not what S&S Auto told me and my insurance agent at Bellon confirmed that you ow have to go to Guad.

Things have changed and most are not able to do it Lakeside anymore.

Have you seen any driving into Guadalajara at all, I am sure they have signs out front of the locations.
