The Time Machine

There is a new band playing around here called The Time Machine. They are from Guadalajara. They played at Cheers Bar last Saturday night. They are a breath of fresh air. They have a female lead singer who has a deep, gravely voice. She does some great Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raite, Melissa Ethridge etc. This band also plays hits/bands from the 60's/70's/80's such as Pink Floyd, CCR, Doobie Brothers, Cat Stevens, Stevie Wonder, Pat Benatar, Blondie, Guns N Roses. A great party band for sure.

They will be playing at Cheers Bar again on Saturday, June 21 at 8:00pm. No cover charge. If you like live music these guys are worth checking out.

Cheers is located in West Ajijic in the old Tabarka Restaurant.

Yes, they serve bar type food such as chicken wings, bratwurst, potato skins, French fries, hamburgers, etc. I have had the wings and potato skins. Both were every good.
