Facebook hacking

So I got a friend request from Tony and then he was chatting and the grammar was strange and then I asked him when did I see him last (knowing I saw him 4 days ago at the Legion) and the person answered last month and then I asked where and he said Mexico, I said where specifically and then was deleted. The guy tried to mention some prize of $100,000



Someone is creating fake accounts with real names and pictures so beware of people you know who have few friends, it is a scammer cloning their account

I received a friend request from a Tony (in Chapala) as well today. I just ignored it as I don't think I know him. It actually said he was recommended by Hocks. It just looked fishy though.

That was the one!

apologies.... I got the friend request... accepted it, thinking Tony changed something with his Facebook Account... then the damned thing asked for friend suggestions and I happily complied... I really am a bit naïve when it comes to the ways of the Internet....

I won't do it again....

That's pretty funny hocks,just the other day I was cautioning ny teen age nieces about giving out too much info on their Facebook accounts.....  

Everybody falls for something once in a while. It is difficult to be on all the time security wise. Good lesson here for us all and a good reminder for those who know better.
