OK, it seems that I am ignorant and mis-informed regarding legal requirements for golf carts. Can someone enlighten me regarding registration, licensing, driver's licensing, etc. for golf carts in the Chapala region. Where does one go to license them if necessary. And where is it legal to drive them and where not? Thanks in advance.

I suggest you talk to the guy who has a business renting them. He certainly should know the answers to all of your questions.
