Still, shouldn't there be a Coconut Palm somewhere in that first photo? Did they all get blown down??

Candace and I will be fishing there Friday, trolling for Rooster fish along the shore then going out into deeper water for Dorado and Yellowfin tuna.

I had the white balance settings wrong on this foto so the colors are a bit too saturated.

You'd think with that name there would be more cocos but that side of the road is really barren. Lots of cocos on the other side of the road.  Lots of turtles nest on that beach so keep an eye out

Maybe there were more in the past. Not many right on the beach along the stretch of paved highway where it turns towards the Isla Navidad golf course but if you look in the other direction (southeast) where there are still farms you'll see plenty.

Land for sale in area.  A friend of a friend just sent me info to disseminate of land I think is in that area.
