I can't find any decent decks of cards! HELP!!! The ones from the import store are so slick, it's hard to hang onto or shuffle them. So the guys at Wallie-World (they had none in stock) referred me to Superlake...so I bought a deck....they are PLASTIC!!! Even worse to play with...impossible really. Any ideas or sources? TIA!!!

I find that all brand-new decks of cards are slippery and awkward at first. The best thing to do is keep shuffling them, bending them slightly back and forth for a while, and rubbing your fingers on them to rough them up a bit.

the dollar store on the plaza in Ajijic has many different kinds. just bought some a few weeks ago. on the left as you walk in

Yes, got some at the import/"dollar" store...The ink comes off on anything it touches!

Willie, stop by on Tuesday, or Sunday around 1 if possible, I have a few packs that aren't slick. They are used.
