Private Message Notifications???

I need a little help here. I have just discovered that I have two private messages...one a couple of days old and the other a MONTH old.
Is there a way to get a notification that I've got pm's?...like the pop up on the other board? or how? I'm not seeing (or I could be blind) how to set this up?

Thank you to all. It appears that something is not working properly because under my Profile, I went in to both notifications and preferences. I already had the notify via e-mail checked yes and I already had the pop up checked yes as well. Neither is working for me.

Back to Basics...I'll have to check the QuickJump Menu at start up.

That may not be working either for me. PM me and I'll see...later...if I have an internet connection. I've gotten so paranoid about suddenly not having a connection that I copy (an e-mail or a forum post) before I click send...just in case. Saved my bacon a few times.

Trailrunner is absolutely correct. The logo "CLICK HERE for QuickJump Menu" turns red if you have a pm. Thank you!...any way we could get it to flash and jump up and down too? ;)

BTW, "dicey" is a very nice and polite way of describing the quality of my internet connection...'nuff said?
