A couple of days ago I was asked if I had heard about a recent rash of burglaries and car thefts -- all in one night -- in Los Sabinos. Sounded well orchestrated. Did not sound as if the perpetrators had been identified. If this info is fact based and Los Sabinos is a gated community, others depending on the gatedness for security need take note.

Has anyone else heard the story?

I know a Los Sabinos resident who it happened to. Sounds like the same "MO" as is reported on the front page of the Feb 5 - 9 Guadalajara Reporter.

Personal protection is always the key factor.

Guards are always open to collusion or threats to lead them to look the other way. Remember, like the Police, they are paid minimally.
