OK, so we have gas tankers doing their job and things may be getting back to normal soon. This raises some questions as far as I can see.

1. At what point, if ever, will the pipelines be put back in use?

2. If/When the pipelines are put back in use, what's going to stop the bad-guys from going right back to stealing as usual?

3. If/When the pipelines are going to be put back into use, what happens with the X hundreds of tankers the government bought and the drivers they hired?

4. How long can the pipelines go without being used until they start to deteriorate severely?

5. Anyone want to buy a few thousand miles of large bore pipe and/or a lot of tanker trucks? Someone must have a use for them ------ maybe?

I suspect the plan is to deliver in tankers for quite some time. Probably open up the pipelines every once in a while to top things up.

Right now they are taking down stands of vendors in the communities that are selling the gas at 16 pesos a liter and they are going to have a serious plan to prevent them from reopening because the minute the police goes away .. They even has a price war the other day , shooting at each other for 1 peso difference.. Nothing like having a bunch of idiots selling gas in cans having a shoot out..

Exit strategy?  Same as for every other "crisis".  Ignore it, let it blow over, forget about it.
