How much can you take as checked luggage on Aeromexcio

When you fly can you take a number of boxes (to go in cargo) plus your suitcases. Of course you would pay for the extra weight. Is there a limit with Aeromexico? Does anyone have any idea how much they charge per kilogram? Has anyone had experience with this?

When we were looking at Aeromexico to fly from NYC to GDL, the first leg of the trip was flown by Delta. Then we would have switched to an Aeromexico plane in ATL. They were going to charge luggage fees for each leg of the flight, $30 usd for Delta, $30 usd for Aeromexico for 1 bag. We looked elsewhere.

This is common...If you had one carrier the cost would be only once...

If they were flying 'code share' there should have been only 1 luggage fee.....

Aeromexico is a Delta code share partner airline,,RickS is correct..I fly that combo 4-5 times per year..1 bag fee..the agent was new or asleep at the wheel..

Aeromexico for us Vancouver to Guad comes with a free checked bag up to 50#. We've been winked at @ 53#'s. Right Bob, we need every break we can get weight wise. I booked a Guad/CDMX flt with Interjet. Very reasonable with a checked bag included. Stunned. Aeromexico co shares with Westjet. Who Knew. Apparently not Westjet. Anybody find that on Westjet's site please post. Then why does Westjet quote a price and Aeromexico's is cheaper? Love Aeromexico.
