Car Insurance for South Dakota Plates

My Oregon car registration expired in June. As a result, I've obtained South Dakota plates. I'll be driving back to Oregon soon for a one month stay and want to be covered by some liability insurance to protect myself.

Has anyone obtained South Dakota insurance while they were down here? What mailing address did they provide the insurance company?

You don't have to get SD insurance. Stop at the border and get a short-term policy from Progressive or Fred Loya.... or anyone that will sell it to you for that matter.
