Roof top gauge in lower Chula Vista registered 1.98 inches of rain between 1:30-3:30am... an inch an hour! The lightening was so close too. Amazingly, we did not lose power..

Does anyone know what happened in Chapala from day before - the road was covered in mud near the Immigration office.. mudslide? Last night's rain could only make a bad situation worse..

It´s the rainy season, nothing unusual for this time of the year.  GDL has had even more rain and storms with a lot of ice and hail, flooding, and downed trees.
Same thing every year.
